World Partners is excited to share that staff member Jessica Boshaw has raised her full support and will be heading to Spain soon to begin her ministry! Jessica is currently working to gather documents to apply for her visa. The processing should take about a month, so we’re hopeful Jessica will be able to head to Spain in April!
Jessica’s journey to Spain with World Partners began in the summer of 2017, when she completed a three-month internship in that country. During that time, Jessica took some Spanish classes, walked a section of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (“the Way of St. James”), and spent time getting to know our staff members in Spain and learning about their ministries. Returning home, Jessica knew God was calling her to go back to Spain full-time. Now, after nearly four years of training and fundraising, the time has come to go!
Jessica remains in the United States during the visa process and is available to speak to your small groups or church body during February and March. Jessica continues to raise funds toward her start-up fund, which includes all her outgoing expenses for travel, moving, language school, visa costs, etc. Jessica states, “It’s everything you need when moving and starting over again. My biggest expense will be language school. But I’m confident that God will provide through the necessary people or means he chooses to use. Thank you all so much for your continued support and prayers!”
