Nathan and Christina Duran have recently been accepted as World Partners missionaries to Belize! They have started their fundraising.
The Durans will be seconded to YWAM (Youth With A Mission) through World Partners. World Partners and YWAM have the same vision of disciplemaking. Nathan and Christina will be involved in intensive discipleship of international youth participating in YWAM through evangelism and ministry.
Nathan was born to missionary/pastor parents and grew up in a Christian household. He started his own Christian journey at the age of seven when he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Nathan went to the University of St. Paul and led a ministry to the homeless of Minneapolis. Most recently, Nathan served as a police officer. He is currently pursuing degrees in Bible and psychology.
Christina grew up in a Christian home and at the age of ten accepted Christ into her heart. Her first mission trip was to Mexico at the age of fifteen. She attended college at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and believes this is where God confirmed her call on her life to missions. In 2011 Christina left the U.S. to go to South Africa through YWAM. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Services.
When Nathan and Christina married they knew they wanted ministry to be an integral part of their lives. They are now fulfilling this dream.
