The General Oversight Council of the Missionary Church, Inc. is pleased to announce the search for a Director of Development for the Missionary Church Denomination.
Headquartered in Fort Wayne, IN, the Missionary Church has experienced excellent growth in international outreach and domestic church planting. Focused on an aggressive growth vision, the Missionary Church, Inc. is seeking an individual to serve as the Director of Development to assist in the fulfillment of this vision.
The Missionary Church, Inc. is an evangelical denomination “committed to church planting and world missions.” The 125 year-old denomination is focused on five visionary strategies to fulfill this commitment: Prayer, Evangelism/Discipleship, Strengthening Local Churches, Planting Churches/Districts, and Raising Up Catalytic Leaders. Though the Missionary Church is recognized as one of the fastest growing denominations in the USA, bringing people to Christ, not rapidly growing numbers, is what gives us the greatest joy.
To help fund these visionary strategies, the Director of Development, serving as a member of the President’s leadership team, must be a collaborative, decisive, and inspirational individual. The position requires an experienced person with a deep personal faith, considerable expertise in high-level financial resource development, and leadership skills for rapidly changing environments.
