IRELAND: DENNY COLLINS praises the Lord’s goodness on a recent mission trip to Belarus. This was the first mission trip for Denny’s church community in Ireland. Denny, Thomas, and Liam ministered to 140 orphans and over thirty elderly individuals who have been abandoned by their family. Thomas, a new believer, returned to become more involved with the church and its community. Liam filmed the week and will provide information about the project to the church community. These men are examples of how a mission trip can change lives.

UNITED STATES: World Partners Volunteer Service leaders ALANA CARPENTER and LEE DeTURK will hold a one-day training on Saturday, May 18, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This training is for individuals who have volunteered to help MARK and CARLA HANSON in Spain with their English Camp in June.

SENEGAL: Pray for JEREMY TICE and World Partners partner, Ezekiel Ango, as they travel from Senegal to Nigeria on Monday, May 20. Jeremy and Ezekiel will speak three hours per day at a discipleship multiplication event. They will then travel to another city in Nigeria and teach at an additional five day discipleship event for an association of churches. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend each event. Jeremy states, “It will be another great opportunity for Ezekiel and I to depend fully on the Holy Spirit to do His work as we share because this will be well out of our comfort zone!” MINDIE, ELIJAH and JAPHETH TICE have been ill for several days. Pray they will start to feel better and that Jeremy would stay well.

GUINEA: DAWN ANDERSON requests prayer for wisdom. The medical work she does in the village has recently become more challenging as she treats patients with unusual and complicated illnesses.

INDONESIA: A STAFF MEMBER in Indonesia is working to serve the poor and bring together diverse groups for discussions. She hopes to establish a new group for interfaith harmony. Pray for this staff member as she continues to bring people together for Christ.

IMMIGRANT MINISTRIES: A STAFF COUPLE requests prayer for their disciple, Jane, who has made some positive progress in her personal life. Pray for her spiritual progress as well. Also pray for the staff couple as they minister to Jane.

CYPRUS: RICK DUGAN and MICHAEL REYNOLDS requests prayer as they prepare for Module 3 of Next Generation Discipleship Training to be held in Sweden at the end of May.

UNITED STATES: BILL and DEBBIE JONES plan to teach Breaking Free 101 this summer. They will lead individuals through the nine sessions of the series on two Friday nights and two Saturdays. If you are interested in being involved in the pilot run of this format, contact Bill Jones. The Jones also request prayer that they will have God’s leading as to the time and place for the sessions and the stamina to pull it off.

SUDAN: Yasir, a Sudanese partner of World Partners, requests prayer for the safety of his parents. The town where his parents live has been attacked by rebels. Yasir hopes to bring his parents to live with him soon. Also pray for Yasir’s wife and infant who are ill. They hope to be able to find a good doctor in their area to help them. Pray for these believers.

Many of the World Partners staff will be returning to the United States in the next month for Home Ministry Assignment. Pray for safety as they travel home and then travel to various locations in the U.S. to speak in churches and connect with supporters.
