The Central District voted to embrace a restructuring process of The Missionary Church denomination at its annual District conference May 22-23.  The conference was held at Fellowship Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Action taken noted they were responding to the leadership of the denomination in aligning itself with a regional posture, “believing that the restructuring would be used by God to advance the cause of reaching more people for Christ and making more disciples."  By-laws will be revised and presented for approval at the first session of the Central Regional Conference in 2013.

The Region will encompass Wisconsin, Illinois, and much of Indiana, with Districts (yet to be designed) in areas such as Fort Wayne, Peoria, Indianapolis, Chicago, and variously throughout Wisconsin.
